Force Majeure

All prices listed include VAT (where applicable) and delivery to UK mainland addresses only. Product prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Trade customers will be issued a pro forma invoice. Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of its content) at any time without prior notice.

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modifications, price changes, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

5. Products

Certain products or services may only be available online through our website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only in accordance with our Refund Policy.

We have made every effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the display of any colour on your computer monitor will be accurate.

All our fabrics are printed to order, with a lead time of approximately four weeks unless otherwise specified as in stock.

Fabric Types

Velvet
Our velvet is an upholstery-weight cotton velvet suitable for domestic or light commercial use. The velvet has a 100% cotton pile and is not fireproofed but can be treated upon request.

Due to our artisan printing methods, slight marks, blemishes, staining, or spotting may occasionally occur. These characteristics result from our techniques to achieve the depth and vibrancy of colour we desire.
Silk
Our printed silk is a fashion-weight silk satin, reinforced with a backing fabric to provide added body and strength. It is suitable for furnishings and light domestic upholstery.
Linen
Our printed linen is 100% linen, ideal for furnishings and light domestic upholstery.

All our fabrics are thoroughly quality-checked. However, due to the nature of our printing process, slight marks, blemishes, and colour variations between printed batches may occur. These are inherent features of our artisan methods, designed to create vibrant and richly coloured fabrics.

We recommend inspecting your fabric upon receipt to ensure you are satisfied before cutting.

To ensure you choose the right fabric and colour, we suggest ordering a fabric sample before purchasing fabric by the metre, as computer screens may not accurately reflect colours or tones.

Fabric Samples

Velvet swatches: £5 each (discounted against subsequent orders).
Linen swatches: £3 each (discounted against subsequent orders).
Small fabric cuttings are available free of charge.

Fabric Care

All fabrics may be affected by direct sunlight; keeping them out of sunlight will help maintain their vibrant colours.
Silk fabrics are particularly susceptible to fading and should be handled with extra care.
For curtains and blinds, we recommend using a lining and interlining.
For upholstery, a fire-retardant interliner is recommended.
Dry cleaning is advised for all our fabrics.
Furniture should be cleaned with a steamer.

We cannot accept liability for changes in appearance, performance, or defects in fabrics that have been treated after purchase (e.g., flameproofing, stain-repelling treatments, or any other post-purchase processing).

Furniture

All our furniture is handmade to order in Dorset, England, with a lead time of 12–14 weeks unless otherwise stated as in stock.

Our furniture features solid hardwood frames and is upholstered using traditional techniques, including hand-tied springs and natural materials wherever possible.

6. Services

Corita Rose Ltd. reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sale of our products or services to any individual, geographic region, or jurisdiction. This right may be exercised on a case-by-case basis. We also reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services we offer. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without prior notice and at our sole discretion. We further reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for a product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not guarantee that the quality of any products, services, information, or other materials purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, nor do we warrant that any errors in the service will be corrected.

7. Accuracy Of Billing And Account Information

Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received. Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the item(s), specifications, and estimated delivery times. Please review the confirmation email carefully to ensure all details are correct. If you notice any inaccuracies, contact us as soon as possible to make corrections.

Trade customers will be issued a pro forma invoice. Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. At our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, using the same credit card, and/or orders with the same billing and/or shipping address. If we make changes to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email address and/or billing address or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.

We also reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made through our store. You further agree to promptly update your account details, including your email address, credit card numbers, and expiration dates, to ensure we can complete your transactions and contact you if required.

8. Payment Methods

Corita Rose Ltd. accepts payments via PayPal, cheque, and BACS transfer. Please contact us for further details regarding cheque or BACS payments.

All credit and debit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be held liable for delays or non-delivery of goods.

We do not store any card or payment details.

9. Delivery

Corita Rose Ltd. aim provide accurate delivery estimates for all orders. However, delivery times are approximate and subject to variation based on circumstances beyond our control.

UK Mainland Delivery

Standard delivery times for in-stock items are typically within 7–10 working days. For custom or bespoke items, lead times may vary, and you will be informed of the estimated delivery date when placing your order.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather or strikes.

International Delivery

International shipping is available to selected regions. Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and additional charges applicable in their country.
Delivery times for international orders will depend on the destination and customs clearance processes.

Delayed or Damaged Deliveries

If your delivery is delayed or arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Damaged items must be retained in their original packaging, and photographic evidence may be required to process claims.

Delivery Acceptance

Ownership and risk transfer to you upon successful delivery to the address provided. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery.

10. Order Restrictions

Corita Rose Ltd. reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. At our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per individual, household, or order. These restrictions may apply to orders placed using the same customer account, credit card, or billing and/or shipping address. Should we need to make changes to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, or phone number provided at the time of purchase.

We also reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

Corita Rose Ltd. may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we have no control, input, or oversight.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, representations, conditions, or endorsements of any kind. We accept no liability for any issues arising from or related to your use of optional third-party tools.

21. Cancellations

If you believe that any of our products are defective or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the issue.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 7 days of receipt. We will provide either a replacement or a credit note.

Order Cancellations

Once your order has been placed, you have 7 days to change your mind. You must notify us of your decision to cancel by email or letter within this period, and we will reimburse you in full upon receipt of your notification.

If you cancel after 7 days, a cancellation fee of up to 50%, plus any incurred costs, may apply, depending on the progress of the work.

Cancellations of Bespoke or Commissioned Work

Bespoke or commissioned work cancellations will incur design charges and any associated costs. Once printing or construction has commenced, we regret that we cannot offer a refund.

22. Returns and Refunds

Corita Rose Ltd. is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and handling returns or refunds promptly.

Standard Returns

You may return items within 7 days of receipt if they are defective or unsatisfactory. A replacement, credit note, or refund will be provided, subject to the item being returned in its original condition and packaging.

Bespoke and Commissioned Items

Bespoke or customised items are non-refundable unless they are found to be faulty. Cancellations of bespoke orders before production may incur design charges and any associated costs. Once production has commenced, we regret that refunds or cancellations cannot be accommodated.

Return Process

You must provide proof of purchase and detailed reasons for the return.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.

Inspection and Refunds

Returned items will be inspected upon receipt. Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days if the returned item meets our requirements.
